Due to the extremely cold temperatures that we are expecting tomorrow morning, we will not be going outside to Paradise Park. We are crossing our fingers for next week though!
I was building a teepee. -Ellie I was sitting in my sit spot. -Allie I was trying make a fort with sticks for all the animals. -Ben I am also trying to build a habitat. -Ellie We were walking to our Forest Friday classroom. -Jasper These are our forest jobs. -Kira I am sitting on a tree stump. - Ryan I was sitting in my sit spot. - Max We are using our sense of sight, hearing, smelling, touch, and taste. -Peter There is snow in our sit spots! - Lucas We were meeting a tree! - Gavin We tried to feel a tree, hug a tree, and use our sense of touch to get to know the tree. We couldn't see the tree. We had to trust that our partner would keep us safe. -Peter We had to go slow. - Sadie It was Kira's turn to meet the tree! We were building a tent made out of sticks called a habitat. - Max This habitat was for a person, and it was me! - Lydia A habitat should be dry and warm. - Ella We put leaves on top of the sticks so it would be warm. -Allie We made a fire! - Emerson We made our fire on the right because there was water on the left. - Evan

Forest Friday is GO for tomorrow, November 9th. The rain is predicted to happen in the afternoon so we are hoping to get through our picnic lunch before coming back to school. Make sure to dress in layers!

Vivian was eating her carrots. We are getting ready to drop our eggs. Wyatt is holding a bag of leaves. We will put the egg in the bag and drop it. Aurora is dropping the egg. Bryce was standing on a log singing "Humpty Dumpty". He cracked. Allie was dropping the egg. Wyatt was waiting at the bottom to see if Humpty cracked. There were leaves on the ground and it was soft, so the egg did not crack. We are sitting down and seeing how many leaves are in our bags. We are trying to grab the stick from the bear who is hibernating. Someone is trying to not wake up the sleeping bear. Eva is dropping her egg. He is dropping his egg. People are swinging off the branch in the forest playground. We are singing a silly song!
